Information about the route:

For those coming from the Jonava city side it is recommended to start this route from the bridge through Šventoji, stop next to the spring water source, to analyse the map and to travel towards Vilnius to Napoleon‘s oak tree. If you are coming from Vilnius – we recommend starting from the second object – Napoleon‘s oak tree. On your way back turn towards Liudvikiskes and drive through the forest through Perelozai towards Arnotiskes. That is where Lietava hydrographic reservation spring water source is. Later along the river Neris go to Šventoji-Neris rivers‘ confluence. Banks of the river Šventoji are very beautiful, there are many places to rest, the most well-known one – Metelis riverbank.

Route length– around 51 km, duration – 1,5 hours. Recommended to travel by car.

Guide serviceIf the tour‘s date and time are arranged in advance – there is a possibility to hire a tour guide: 1-hour price: for adult – 2 euros, children, pensioners, disabled people – 1 euro.

Group consists of 15-20 people.

Available tour extrasOn the way back you can rest and camp in Metelis riverbank rest area. You can visit Dagilionys and Vareikiai burial mounds.
