Piliakalniu village – mound

About object:
An archaeological monument of the republican significance is located in the east of the main street of Piliakalniai village, next to the road “Panoteriai – Siesikai”, about 300 m from the gravel road. According to the elderly, it is not a castle hill, although the locals used to call it a castle. It is the 18th century, during the war between the Swedes and the Russians, a grave poured for their hero by the soldiers.
